Select and carry out scheduled work orders based on equipment needs.
Performs soldering, brazing, welding, and burning functions for HVAC installations and repairs.
Perform tasks such as: time keeping, writing work orders, ordering supplies and materials, keeping records, logs, and reports.
Dismantles, moves, fabricates, redesigns (with proper authorization), assembles, and installs HVAC systems up to 480VAC or 250VDC (from the load side of the service disconnect).
Follow EIS, Lockout Tagout and verification, and S.O.Ps in the performance of duties.
Test HVAC systems and equipment using electrical, electronic, and mechanical testing and sensing equipment.
Mentoring peers and training probationary employees.
Assist in the writing and approval process of EICs, SOPs and other work instructions for HVAC department.
Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems up to 480VAC or 250VDC.
Performs predictive and preventative maintenance as well as diagnoses HVAC systems and related equipment and components to determine root cause of failures.
Layout, plan, and install HVAC equipment and circuits from instructions, prints, diagrams, and electrical codes to conform to specifications.
Communicate with internal and external customers and suppliers concerning project or equipment status and technical issues.
Maintain and utilize email access.
Actively engage in principles and utilizes tools in Arconic Business Systems (ABS), Reliability Excellence (REX), Human Performance (HP), initiative to pursue ownership in the business and facilitates positive communication.
Record, interpret, and react to information on SPC forms, charts, and graphs.
Checks, installs, adjusts, and calibrates HVAC systems and components.
Use information systems and processes to obtain information procedures and data in the performance of duties.
Operate material handling equipment, perform limited painting and lubrication, perform housekeeping duties.

Minimum: 3 years commercial experience or 4 years residential service experience

Satisfactorily pass a comprehensive skills test and interview.
