Description

• Travel to job sites and use specialized equipment to accurately locate and mark all underground utilities and structures, including those unlocatable by traditional methods.
• Troubleshoot using industry knowledge, observational and problem‑solving skills to ensure safety and accuracy in every locate.
• Deliver reliable, professional results to uphold Blood Hound’s reputation.
• Communicate professionally with job site contacts, customers, and co‑workers to ensure a smooth, safe locating process.
• Manage workload independently and travel to job sites daily; flexible for overtime, after‑hours, and occasional overnight travel.

We are looking for motivated Advanced Locate Technicians who take pride in their craft and want to grow with a company that rewards results. In this role you will use advanced tools, problem‑solving skills, and field expertise to locate and mark underground utilities with precision.

• Minimum 2+ years experience as a public or private utility locator with proven accuracy and professionalism.
• Experience with an engineering or SUE firm is a plus.
• Ability to locate multiple utility types in a variety of environments.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proficient with Windows‑based computers and Microsoft Office programs.
• Willing and able to learn new procedures and technologies.
• Pass a fit‑to‑work physical.
