  • Compile and organize project documentation, design calculations, and plan sets for review and submittal.
  • Conduct field visits to collect data, verify existing conditions, and support survey coordination.
  • Perform quantity take-offs and assist with cost estimate preparation.
  • Participate in internal design reviews and learn about project development from concept through final design.
  • Assist in researching design standards, specifications, and guidelines from DOT and local agencies.
  • Support engineering staff with data entry, file management, and quality control tasks.
  • Assist roadway design engineers in preparing plans, profiles, and cross sections for transportation infrastructure projects (roadways, intersections, drainage, etc.).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including traffic, drainage, and structural engineers.
  • Support the development of horizontal and vertical alignments using MicroStation OpenRoads).
