Coordinate with clients, project managers, and internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
Conduct field visits to assess structural conditions and gather project data.
Plans multiple highly complex projects simultaneously, tracking and delivering them on time and within budget.
Leads group of project engineers, engineering consultants and technicians, exercising considerable independence in decision making process.
Drives team development making learning a required assignment for all employees.
Informs, in a timely manner, Department Head regarding any conflicts/issues that relate to his/her work.
Conduct swing stage inspections on high-rise structures to ensure safety and compliance with applicable standards.
Reviews project documentation and reports prepared by divisional staff for accuracy and completeness.
Develops and effectively delivers presentations to critical/high level customers.
Handles requests for information, service or complaints, or makes referrals to appropriate staff in a timely and concerned manner that reflects an effort to resolve any arising issues while at the same time acting responsibly on behalf of m2e.
Develops and writes effective proposals and reports with all necessary backup material for external consumption.
Supervises the implementation of the design, preparation of construction plans, design improvement, specifications and timetable activities, and overall construction of projects.
Support business development and client relationship efforts, specifically in the Tampa area.
Models and strictly adheres to m2e standards, policies, and project schedules.
Develop and recommend standard operating procedures and performance standards utilized by the Division.
Responsible for budgets, proposal preparation, bid implementation, manpower estimates (immediate and long-range), and ensuring on-time delivery of projects.
Prepare detailed reports based on structural analysis findings.
Oversee the acquisition of field data.
Effectively mentors, trains and develops people within and/or outside his/her work group/team.
Monitors operations and activities in the field to help ensure standard operating procedures are followed and performance standards are met.
Riding in a hoist and/or in a swing stage to be performed under strict adherence to the OSHA standards. Climbing ladders and scaffolds to be performed under strict adherence to the OSHA standards.

Ability to stand upright for up to 8 hours per day.
Experience with post-tensioned concrete systems.
Must be able to see near, in the distance, color, depth, and range.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in dealing with manpower and budgets.
Familiarity with structural forensics and failure analysis.
Creative problem solving.
Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds at times.
Must be able to use right and left foot for repetitive movements as in operating controls or levers.
Must be able to access and navigate job sites and construction areas (uneven terrain, exposure to outdoor weather elements)
Experience with PTI (Post-Tensioning Institute) standards and procedures.
English proficiency: Fluent (Speak, read, understand, interpret content and write).
Demonstrated project management experience in the field.
Full dexterity of wrists and fingers required with repetitive motions.
Active Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license via examination or active registration in another state with the ability to reciprocate to Florida within six months of beginning employment.
4+ years of pre-or-post degree work experience, which must have involved construction, design, inspection or estimating, and budgeting.
Valid State of Florida Driver's License and reliable transportation required.
Safety equipment, including but not limited to hard hat, OSHA approved footwear, safety glasses and safety vests, is always required while performing job functions on active construction sites. Safety gloves, ear plugs, and safety harness will be issued when appropriate.
Knowledgeable in all technical areas of design, construction and management, or having a demonstrated ability to achieve that level of proficiency in a short period of time.
Strong presentation skills.
Bachelor's/master’s degree in engineering or a closely related field from an accredited college or university, or documented combination of education and professional experience in related engineering field.
Ability to perform swing stage inspections; OSHA certification preferred.
Ability to look at a computer for up to 8 hours per day.
Bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling, laying, crawling, and twisting required up to 30% of the time in this role.
Must be able to ride in a hoist and/or swing stage.
