Set up and operate woodworking tools to cut, finish, and form material for the job.
Locates and installs prefabricated wood and metal parts.
Uses a variety of hand tools to form, fabricate, finish, erect, dismantle, repair and refinish structures and refinery office equipment.

Requires visual ability sufficient to perform job duties. Work normally requires eye-hand coordination.
Minimum of three (3) years or more in refinery maintenance/turnaround/or construction experience.

Receives and understands instructions and prints regarding work assignment in shop or field.
Must be able to complete the Matrix Service Safety training and Client / Site specific training.
Ability to work in Confined Spaces.
Makes calculations essential in estimating material requirements and for laying out and developing curved, angular, plane, or irregular shapes.
A general knowledge of basic hand tools.
Must be able to pass the Carpenter Skills Test at or above 70% or complete the NCCER certification for your craft.
Must be able to obtain and maintain active status within the DISA drug testing program.
Work involves standing and walking for extended periods of time.
