Description

The position is located in Greer, SC. The role supervises and coordinates activities of workers who clean and maintain commercial and industrial premises, handling duties such as interviewing, hiring, training, scheduling, performance appraisal, and addressing complaints.

• Inspect work performed to ensure that it meets specifications and established standards.
• Plan and prepare employee work schedules.
• Investigate complaints about service and equipment and take corrective action.
• Inspect and evaluate the physical condition of facilities in order to determine the type of work required.
• Coordinate activities with other departments to ensure that services are provided in an efficient and timely manner.
• Check equipment to ensure that it is in working order.
• Instruct staff in work policies and procedures and the use and maintenance of equipment.
• Perform or assist with cleaning duties as necessary.
• Select the most suitable cleaning materials for different types of linens, furniture, flooring, and surfaces.

Requirements

The job requires regularly standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and lifting or moving up to 50 pounds. These activities may be performed in various areas of the facility, often requiring balance and coordination.

Candidates need at least an associate’s degree or equivalent, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training. Reasonable accommodations are provided for disabilities.

Benefits

Work hours are Sunday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. The schedule includes a six-day work week with a brief daily shift.
