  • You are responsible for leading overall development, deployment and execution of Divisional Procurement Strategies and meeting divisional and overall targets, including budget responsibility for the procurement division and reporting of various KPIs with data integrity.
  • You are responsible for developing a high performing team within the Danfoss culture , including a team for supplier development
  • Cascade and ensure the execution of the strategy within the division by making it clear and understandable for all team members. Recruitment, development, and leadership of procurement managers, target setting for all levels of organization.
  • Additionally, you will assist and lead negotiations for divisional commercial agreements such as - cost up/down, Lead Time Reduction, MOQ, Stocking Agreements, Capacity, Flexibility with external suppliers in coordination with Category Management
  • Primary responsibility in the identification, development and implementation of Procurement initiatives to achieve targeted direct material cost savings, secure supplier capacity and supplier performance.
  • You will build an effective and proactive liaison with other relevant functions/departments to forecast, plan and supply to DPS plants, representing the division in the global Procurement Leadership Team in which you actively participate. You will ensure a link to other divisions and various other teams such as supply chain.

  • You bring experience in procurement and leadership, preferably from matrix environment
  • You have a university degree or certificate within logistics, supply chain or engineering, with experience in procurement within an engineering industry
  • You have fluent English language skills and you can be described as an individual with personal drive, an entrepreneurial mindset and strong intercultural communication skills
  • You are ready for regular, international travel (approx. 50%)
  • You have broad knowledge required in category management, logistics, supply chain management and basic understanding of financial tools and reportin
