Testing and inspecting Low Voltage Switchgear and Switchboards to applicable standards (i.e. UL1558, UL891, IEEE, etc)
Maintain and input records or reports related to testing/inspecting activities.
Use Hipot, test card, hand tools, specialized software (i.e. Siemens WinPM, Step 7, MicroWin, WinCC Flexible, SAP, etc.) and various other tools to aid in testing and inspecting.
Use multi meter and electrical theory to verify power readings and circuit design to ensure accurate wiring and operation.
Perform inspection/audit of mechanical and electrical assemblies.

2+ years exposure to electrical components or knowledge of electrical components.
High school diploma or GED
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
2+ years in capacity of engineering or quality functions for power distribution equipment.
Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language along with Blueprints/engineering drawings.
Knowledge of power distribution components (breaker, relays, communication devices).
Knowledge of prevailing codes (UL1558, UL891, UL508).
Ability/experience testing and troubleshooting with strong problem-solving skills.
Associates degree or technical training in area of responsibility
