

Electric Hydrogen develops clean hydrogen production systems to enable decarbonization.
Key responsibilities include leading corporate development strategy, evaluating and executing partnerships, joint ventures, M&A, and asset acquisitions, and providing market, competitive, and financial analyses for executive and Board decision‑making. The director will craft the equity narrative, develop pitch decks, build financial models, support investor diligence, and manage relationships with lenders, advisors, and the CFO on debt and project financing. Additionally, the role oversees end‑to‑end transaction execution, structures strategic partnerships, prepares Board and investment‑committee materials, and works cross‑functionally with Finance, Legal, Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Operations teams.
The role sits at the intersection of strategy, finance, partnerships, and capital markets, shaping the company’s long‑term trajectory as it scales commercialization, expands its footprint, and engages global investors. The ideal candidate has deep experience in corporate strategy, M&A, and capital raising within hard‑tech or clean‑energy businesses and thrives in fast‑paced, capital‑intensive environments.
Candidates must hold an MBA and have at least 10 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or strategy consulting, with direct involvement in growth‑stage fundraising (Series C/D or later). Required skills include strong financial modeling, valuation, and deal execution, along with experience in clean‑energy, climate‑tech, or infrastructure businesses and the ability to interact with senior executives, Boards, and external investors. Prior operating experience at a venture‑backed startup and excellent written and verbal communication are also required.
The compensation package includes a base salary of $175,000–$205,000 USD, an equity grant, a discretionary bonus, and a comprehensive benefits suite such as a $75‑per‑month cell‑phone allowance, a 4% employer 401(k) match, fully paid medical, dental, vision, life, and disability premiums for employees and families, and generous time‑off programs.
