The role also involves coordinating estimating efforts, reviewing and approving trainee work, submitting competitive bids, providing detailed cost breakdowns to project managers, maintaining documentation, improving estimating systems, scheduling backlog, preparing reports, and identifying value‑engineering cost‑saving opportunities.

Collaboration with preconstruction, operations, and construction teams ensures seamless project execution, while building relationships with general contractors and customers enhances business opportunities. Follow‑up on proposals and continuous refinement of estimating processes are also required.

Requirements

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Electrical Construction Estimator to join our team. The candidate will prepare accurate cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and healthcare electrical projects, requiring strong analytical skills, in‑depth knowledge of electrical control systems, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualified candidates have proven experience in electrical estimating for commercial, industrial, or healthcare construction, strong knowledge of electrical codes and industry standards, and proficiency with estimating software and take‑off tools. They must demonstrate excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem‑solving abilities, be able to interpret technical documents, communicate effectively, and manage multiple estimates and deadlines.
