The Project Manager I is a mid‑level position responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion and ensuring client satisfaction. The role provides overall project management support for several small‑to‑medium projects or one large project, reporting to a Senior Project Manager or Division Manager.
You will plan and organize projects, assign tasks to Assistant Project Managers, and coordinate activities to resolve problems while adhering to company policies. Responsibilities include assessing project scope, preparing detailed estimates, establishing objectives and performance standards, managing change orders, and monitoring construction progress with on‑site leadership to stay on schedule and within budget. You will also prepare costing reports, manage contract financials, and represent Rosendin in project meetings under senior guidance.
Successful candidates demonstrate professional appearance, strong performance‑management skills, and extensive knowledge of safety protocols. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Accubid, and Oracle is preferred, along with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, adapt under pressure, and communicate effectively both orally and in writing. A bachelor’s degree in construction‑related discipline is preferred, and at least three years of construction project management experience is required.
The role may require up to 25 % travel and is performed primarily on active construction sites, involving activities such as standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 30 lb. Rosendin complies with ADA requirements and provides reasonable accommodations for qualified applicants.
