Graduate Procurement Buyer

Overview

Support procurement team with sourcing, ordering and vendor coordination for projects.

Tasks

-Coordinate the return of non-compliant products and ensure credits or invoice adjustments are processed. -Maintain accurate procurement records, monitor price changes, and communicate updates with the procurement team. -Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely placement with vendors. -Track and expedite orders to ensure the timely receipt of goods and services. -Assist in receiving and processing requisitions from project teams. -Support the evaluation of new subcontractors and vendors. -Maintain supplier records and assist with the Approved Supplier Program. -Help resolve invoice discrepancies and ensure appropriate cost allocations. -Contribute to procurement reporting, including diversity spending and cost-saving initiatives. -Assist in assessing vendor proposals for completeness and quality.

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn procurement software. -A proactive and adaptable mindset with a keen interest in procurement and supply chain processes. -Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively. -A recent graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field. -Excellent communication and organizational abilities. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
