The role acts as a focal point and leadership figure, contributing to the regional strategic plan, growth and business development. Responsibilities include supporting the regional lead in day‑to‑day operations, mentoring junior surveyors, participating in the APC programme, and managing a portfolio of projects across multiple sectors. The post also requires internal and external project management, client relationship management, bid development and ensuring high‑quality, timely service delivery.
Candidates must hold a BSc (Hons) Building Surveying RICS‑accredited degree and be a full RICS member, with at least five years of post‑qualification experience and a proven record of winning work. Strong communication, commercial acumen, and the ability to work collaboratively at all levels are essential, alongside proficiency in Word, Excel, and preferably AutoCAD, and a solid understanding of health and safety requirements. Willingness to travel as needed and a commitment to staying current with industry best practice are also required.
The role may require security clearance, with the vetting process conducted by UK Security Vetting and a residency requirement of five years in the UK.
