Solar Tech Innovations
Breaks multiple world records in photovoltaic technology.
Founded in 1997 in Changzhou, Trina Solar has evolved from a pioneering Chinese PV startup into a global solar powerhouse.
It manufactures and ships photovoltaic modules, breaking world records in cell efficiency and power output.
It’s listed on Shanghai’s STAR Market in 2020, combining robust financial performance with high bankability in the solar industry.
Its portfolio spans large‑scale power plants, rooftop and C&I projects, and integrated micro‑grid and storage systems worldwide.
The company operates vertically from R&D through module production to EPC and O&M of solar farms.
It’s building a cutting‑edge module facility in Texas and expanding smart‑energy manufacturing globally.
Trina stands out for launching 210 mm n‑type Vertex modules.
Its footprint covers countries with regional hubs in North America, Europe and Asia, plus manufacturing in Asia and the U.S.
Behind the scenes, it’s developed an Energy‑IoT platform, patents numbering in the thousands, and cloud‑based energy operations.
Unusually, it has partnered on copper‑based PV tech, hinting at bold innovation beyond silicon.
