- Coordinate planning and permitting for traffic/transportation, land development, and infrastructure projects.
- Manage multiple projects within budgets and schedules; prepare progress reports, change orders, invoices, and assist with payment collections.
- Analyze preliminary data with staff to assess project feasibility and develop/modify reports, specifications, plans, and designs.
- Organize, write, and edit draft proposals, reports, and other documents.
- Identify and pursue new clients, develop additional work on existing projects, and attend business development meetings.
- Provide oversight and management of junior staff on project assignments; coach, train, motivate, and participate in hiring.
- Interface professionally with clients, contractors, staff, and other disciplines; deliver technical presentations and produce articles for publications.

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Valid Professional Engineer licensure.
- Minimum 6 years experience in road, intersection, and traffic signal design.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects, develop and control budgets.
- Proficiency with HCS, SYNCHRO, and MUTCD; knowledge of AutoCAD and MicroStation preferred.
- Capability to coach and manage staff.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical, multitasking, and judgment abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively; reliable transportation and valid driver’s license; occasional travel for field work.
