Overview
Born in Grand Prairie, TX and now part of Quanta Services, NorthStar carved its niche building critical energy infrastructure across the central‑southwest.
Early on, the company mastered transmission lines and substation construction, evolving into turnkey specialists in energized services, gas networks, telecom and laid foundations.
As a multi‑service contractor, they assemble every phase of a project—from drilling deep piers to powering live lines—showcasing both scale and technical rigor.
Building resilience into communities, NorthStar responds to storms with rapid emergency restoration, keeping power flowing when it matters most.
They’ve blended traditional electric work with modern renewables—wind, solar, battery storage—embracing projects of increasing complexity.
Led by seasoned energy and construction veterans, their leadership drives a culture of precision, safety and rugged execution.
Their client base spans utilities, municipalities and developers who trust NorthStar to tackle heavy‑civil, telecom, gas and energy work under one roof.
Behind the scenes, projects combine massive drilled‑foundation jobs, live‑line maintenance, distribution networks and telecom trenches into cohesive infrastructure solutions.
