- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, plant rules, environmental and safety procedures, and laws.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure completion of work orders, preventive maintenance, and proactive identification of equipment reliability issues.
- Ensure equipment maintenance, quality control, and maintenance performed by crews and/or contractors.
- Must comply with company safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment while on plant grounds.
- Lead work teams through example and motivation, instruction, coaching, discipline, and otherwise oversee employee and/or contractor work performance.
- Must wear protective equipment while at the location
- Utilize lean methodologies to help enforce best practices amongst sites.
- Perform cost justification analysis.
- Analyzing equipment and making recommended changes.

- Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
- Experience designing maintenance programs
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Mechanical Engineering major preferred
- 5+ years working with heavy equipment
- Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls
- Job involves sitting most of the time, but also involves walking or standing for brief periods of time
- Experience managing a budget
- 1-5 years of progressive maintenance experience in large industrial manufacturing industry
