  • Develop, maintain and adapt climate data models to meet client and regulatory needs.
  • Work collaboratively with finance, risk and sustainability teams to ensure technical accuracy and usability of disclosures.
  • Undertake gap analyses to benchmark current client reporting against evolving standards and expectations.
  • Stay current with changes in regulatory requirements and emerging methodologies in climate-related financial reporting.
  • Translate technical analysis into clear, accessible disclosures for use in annual reports, sustainability reporting and other filings.
  • Lead or support the delivery of climate-related financial disclosures aligned with TCFD and IFRS S2.
  • Delivery and development: Keeps up to date with developments in ESG and climate disclosure. Manages tasks reliably and takes responsibility for delivering high-quality work, while continuing to build technical skills and consulting experience.
  • Prepare climate transition plans in line with current regulations and best practice.
  • Conduct materiality assessments using scenario-based approaches.
  • Support clients in identifying and quantifying the financial impacts of climate risks and opportunities.
  • Design and conduct climate scenario analyses to assess physical and transition risks.
  • Teamwork: Works collaboratively with colleagues to support high-quality project delivery.

  • Experience preparing integrated sustainability or annual reports.
  • Solid understanding of climate disclosure frameworks, particularly TCFD and the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards (IFRS S1 and S2).
  • Understanding of double materiality and CSRD.
  • Communication: Communicates ESG and climate-related topics clearly and effectively, both in writing and verbally. Adapts communication style to suit different audiences and is comfortable asking questions to build understanding.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including modelling), PowerPoint and relevant analytical tools.
  • Comfortable working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of climate risk assessment and financial impact analysis.
  • Excellent technical writing skills and experience producing disclosures that meet regulatory standards.
  • Experience working with finance teams to integrate climate risk into business planning.
  • Experience working on climate-related financial disclosures, TCFD reporting or scenario analysis.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental science, climate science, sustainability, finance or a related field.
  • Client focus: Understands how work supports client needs and contributes to project success. Takes a practical approach to delivering work that is clear, relevant and adds value.
  • Practical experience with scenario modelling approaches and tools (e.g. IEA pathways, NGFS models).
  • Ability to communicate technical findings clearly and translate data into meaningful business narrative.
  • Familiarity with broader ESG and sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g. GRI, ESRS, SASB, TNFD, UN Global Compact).
  • Experience working in a consultancy environment or directly with clients.
