Account Manager- Underground Waterwork Sales

Description

• Deliver a positive customer experience that meets or exceeds expectations.
• Cultivate and maintain customer relationships via regular in‑person and virtual sales calls.
• Represent Etna professionally while driving profitable, customer‑focused sales with honesty and integrity.
• Build trust‑based B2B relationships focused on long‑term value.
• Achieve sales and profit goals by executing the full sales cycle.
• Collect and share market/bid data with estimators to prioritize projects and ensure competitive quotes.
• Handle project estimating as needed.
• Audit and own the accuracy and pricing of customer quotes for assigned regions.
• Manage the bidding process: identify opportunities, secure vendor pricing, coordinate contractors, develop strategies, and deliver quotes.
• Promptly follow up and close quoted projects and sales opportunities.
• Host customers, attend events, and stay active to strengthen industry relationships.
• Stay updated on products and regulations while prospecting and developing leads.
• Participate in required internal, vendor, and industry trainings.
• Deliver products to customers as needed.
• Consistently meet/exceed sales quotas while maintaining profit margins.

• Apply general knowledge of underground waterwork, plumbing, construction, and building.
• Proficient with company products and sales software (Microsoft Office, Eclipse, Phocas).
• Outstanding interpersonal, communication, negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills; adaptable under pressure.
• Comfortable with basic and advanced math for margins, discounts, percentages, and volume.
• Maintain professional image; available for frequent travel, including after‑hours and weekends.
• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• 6‑12 months related experience or training.
• Equivalent mix of experience and education.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable record.
• Walk, stand, sit, talk, hear, use hands, and lift/move up to 25 lb.
• Require clear near and distance vision, depth perception, and color vision.
