Designer/Engineer

Description

• Maintain a computer database of all filed documentation that ensures fast retrieval of documents.
• Performs basic system maintenance and access requests.
• Cross train and support other support function positions as requested
• Organize and set up new projects with approved directories with appropriate security levels.
• Update user and vendor directories.
• Monitor and follow up on past due document and submittal deliverables.
• Create scheduled and ad-hoc reports as needed.
• Setup and support meeting minutes and reports.
• Assist Procurement department with setup of bid packages within the document control system.
• Work with Project Managers to structure document and submittal logs with the proper reviewers/approvers and due dates.
• Mentor and train new staff and project team members on systems and processes as requested.
• Develops and distributes meeting minutes and correspondence

Requirements

• Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office products
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Experience in responsibility for developing, managing and maintaining the document control systems to Small/Mid/Large EPC or EPCM projects within Oil & Gas, Chemical & Petrochem business sector.
