Construction Project Manager

Description

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions
• Manage and coordinate construction projects, ensuring timely completion and within budget constraints
• Manage project coordination, ensuring effective communication between stakeholders
• Manage project risks and develop mitigation strategies
• Develop and maintain project schematics and drawings using Bluebeam software
• Utilize Bluebeam and other project management software to manage project documents, collaborate with team members, and track project progress
• Utilize construction management software and other tools to track project progress, manage schedules, and analyze project data
• Prepare and submit reports to management, including project status, budgets, and forecasts
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure projects align with company objectives
• Manage project expenses and ensure that projects are completed within budget constraints
• Oversee project site activities, including material procurement, labor management, and quality control
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure projects are completed to specifications
• Review and manage project contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and contractual obligations
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including schedules, timelines, and budgets

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• USACE CQM Required
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Certification in construction project management, such as the Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or the Certified Professional Constructor (CPC) is an asset.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

The successful applicant will have extensive experience in the federal market for construction project management and will be proficient in the project management processes.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management
• Experience with project coordination and scheduling tools, such as Schematics and Time management
