- Manage effectiveness of mini model items, placement, and presentation
- Meet with Community Director regularly to review leasing performance and goals, to improve leasing initiatives and strategy
- Provide supervision, direction and structure to your team in the absence of the Community Director, or Supervisor
- Manage the timely responses of resident and prospective resident calls and emails; Monitor and verify traffic in queue is responded to daily
- Prompt, regular attendance; wear company dress code/uniform & maintain professional appearance at all times
- Assist with all resident, financial, analytic and reporting functions for the community
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in the daily marketing and advertising functions of the community to enhance performance
- Design and implement a plan to improve conversion ratios for all leasing associates
- Promote successful leasing by facilitating the application process at the end of the tour
- Complete market analysis and shop competitive properties at least monthly; Implement marketing and leasing strategies daily
- Timely and respectful communication with applicants upon receiving results
- Maintain in depth knowledge of the community, residents, and competitor properties at all times
- Complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure market ready apartments, common areas and amenities are clean and maintained daily to Weidner’s quality standards
- Review and process all applications immediately upon receipt
- Answer incoming calls, convert phone calls into walk in traffic, set viewing appointments; Ensure all leasing traffic is recorded and input daily
- Manage and negotiate all lease renewals in a timely manager and promote resident retention
- Assist with monthly financial performance reports with onsite teams; Support strategy for meeting budget, revenue management, and expense control
- Effectively coordinate daily activities of the leasing team through the management of People, Product, Price and Promotion
- Oversee and manage selection of marketing tour path, target viewing apartments; Ensure rent ready apartments, model homes and community amenities are impeccable
- Follow Weidner’s Mission, Vision and Values and comply with all Weidner policies and procedures as well as all Fair Housing, local, state/province, and federal laws
- Tour prospective residents with energy and enthusiasm the Weidner way

- Driver’s license, vehicle and vehicle insurance must be valid and unexpired at all times and match the country in which associate will work
- Able to give professional directions clearly in person, over the phone, email, and text
- Experienced in Microsoft products preferred (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Must agree to a criminal background check and sign an agreement for voluntary drug testing
- Yardi and Paycom experience preferred; Willing and able to learn new software programs
- Must have access to personal vehicle and/or reliable transportation, at all times
- Work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment and/or independently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong motivation to learn & contribute on a daily basis
- Willing and able to be assigned to other Weidner properties as needed
- Working knowledge of English; detail oriented, well organized
- Ability to work outside of normal scheduled hours as needed
- 3+ years of leasing experience with outstanding customer service skills
- Prior management experience preferred
- Follow Weidner Move-In Experience with all approved applicants
