Local Business Line Leader - Watershed & Stormwater
Black & Veatch
Global engineering, procurement, consulting and construction firm shaping water, energy & infrastructure projects.
Lead stormwater planning, design & condition assessment projects for water resources.
Interface with innovative stormwater, water quality, and planning partners to leverage new technologies and approaches for the benefit of our clients
Planning and/or design of stormwater improvements, including open channels, storm sewer systems, and stormwater detention/retention and retrofit facilities.
Planning efforts related to supply diversification, collection/distribution system expansions and rehab and repair, etc.
Scenario planning efforts for SSO, stormwater, and TMDL compliance projects
Regulatory compliance and permitting efforts for USACE, FEMA, and other environmental permit submittals.
Lead business development efforts through the identification and capture of the services listed above.
Planning and/or design of green infrastructure and sustainable watershed measures, including structural BMPs.
Development of stormwater master plans and watershed management plans.
Planning and/or design of flood mitigation improvements, including dams, levees, reservoirs, and pump stations.
Drive client-facing/business development efforts
Erosion and sediment control planning and design, including SWPPP development.
Lead the execution of water resources projects and act as Project Manager for services including the following:
Build client relationships throughout the target geography to drive growth of the business

Experience with regulatory requirements and procedures
The application of sophisticated watershed and receiving stream H&H and water quality models.
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
15+ years of water resources planning and design experience
Experience developing and executing planning and water resource projects
