The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full‑cycle recruitment for all assigned roles within NTI. This individual partners with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to develop recruiting and selection strategies that address current and future business needs. The position is onsite at NTI’s Manassas, VA facility.
- Source candidates and conduct phone screens using tools such as internet searches, cold calling, networking, associate referrals, and web‑based assessments.
- Follow appropriate procedures and policies throughout the recruitment process.
- Utilize recruiting tools to source both active and passive candidates.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager, hiring managers, and leadership to screen candidates for all open positions.
- Support company culture by modeling the mission, vision, and values.
- Work with hiring managers to review, analyze, and clarify job specifications, required competencies, and business operations.
- Consult managers on screening, selection of qualified applicants, and the offer process.
- Support college recruitment programs and related job fairs.
- Continuously track and update the internal Applicant Tracking System (ADP).
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with a diverse network of colleagues, candidates, and clients.
- Maintain strict confidentiality with all documents, files, and conversations.
- Provide customer‑service oriented support to internal staff and external candidates.
- Apply critical thinking to solve human resources issues.
- Utilize a variety of job boards such as Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Glassdoor.
- Attend the office in Manassas, VA daily.
- Perform prolonged sitting, walking, standing, bending, and fine motor tasks such as finger dexterity.

- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Have 2‑4 years of staffing/talent acquisition experience, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing.
- Experience building relationships with local schools across various locations.
- Experience attending job fairs and school‑related hiring events.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite.
- Experience with multiple Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably ADP WorkforceNow.
- Be able to carry and lift items up to 25 pounds.
- Speak clearly in group settings.
