- Provide leadership and technical direction for automation scope on a new offshore platform.
- Configure and program AADvance SIS in compliance with IEC 61511, API 14C, and client specifications.
- Lead system design reviews, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and offshore startup.
- Interface directly with clients, vendors, and contractors to align deliverables with scope, schedule, and budget.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on programming, configuration, and project execution.
- Develop specifications for automation hardware, software, and network components.
- Ensure compliance with company and client quality standards, engineering procedures, and HSSE requirements.
- Support risk assessments, safety lifecycle verification, and documentation requirements.
- Ensure design meets applicable standards (API, ISA, IEC) and client specifications.
- Coordinate closely with multidisciplinary teams (process, electrical, I&E) to ensure integrated project delivery.

- Strong knowledge of IEC 61508 / IEC 61511 Functional Safety standards and API 14C requirements.
- Configure and program Rockwell ControlLogix PLCs and FactoryTalk View SE HMI.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Automation, Computer, or related Engineering discipline (ABET-accredited preferred).
- Proven expertise with Rockwell ControlLogix programming and FactoryTalk View SE HMI development.
- Offshore and International travel for commissioning and startup.
- Demonstrated ability to lead automation scope for large, greenfield capital projects.
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- 10+ years of experience in industrial automation and control systems, with 5+ years in offshore or deepwater projects.
