The role requires physical mobility on construction sites and field assignments, including the ability to lift 50 pounds, walk long distances, and carry survey equipment in remote, rural, or urban environments. Work is performed outdoors and may be subject to weather, insects, and changing conditions.
Candidates must have experience leading and mentoring a survey crew, operating total stations and GPS equipment in both static and RTK modes, and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid certification or a willingness to obtain them, as well as basic office suite computer skills and the ability to work independently, are required. Preferred qualifications include an Associate’s Degree in Surveying or a related field, coordination with office personnel, and a FAA Part 107 UAS License.
