Senior Accountant

Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will oversee financial operations, manage accounting activities, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, maintaining ledgers, reconciling accounts, managing budgets, and coordinating with external auditors. The individual will also provide strategic financial insights to support organizational goals and decision-making processes.

Requirements

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for preparing reports and interacting with stakeholders
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is a plus
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on financial forecasting and risk management
• Expertise in accounting principles, financial reporting, and preparing financial statements
• Prior experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry is an advantage
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills
• Experience with accounting software and tools, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Proficiency in budgeting, tax management, and compliance with financial regulations
