- Tie off 100% when working on a water tower.
- Unload equipment and rigging from the work shack.
- Assist in setting up rigging, scaffolding, and equipment.
- Follow instructions to rig the tower.
- Operate blast pots and paint pumps.
- Prepare surfaces by pressure washing, light sandblasting, and interior sand removal.
- Inspect personal safety equipment daily, including steel-toe boots.
- Check rigging daily for proper setup and secure attachment points.
- Operate and fuel compressors and welders.
- Assist with inspection of painted surfaces using wet and dry mill gauges.
- Unrig, load, and secure equipment on trailers after job completion.
- Keep ground, truck, trailer, and job shack organized and clean.
- Communicate tasks and procedures with the foreman.
- Field work in unfavorable weather (heat and cold).
- Perform tasks at heights up to 200 feet, requiring climbing, balancing, and stooping.
- Adhere to PPE policy and safety programs.
- Maintain a sustained pace while producing quality work.
