AECOM is hiring a Specialist – Airport NAV Aids Expert for multiple projects across Pan India. The role involves planning, reviewing, and ensuring compliance of airport navigation aid systems with DGCA, ICAO, and AAI standards to support safe and efficient airport operations.
- Review, plan, and support implementation of airport NAV Aids systems (ILS, VOR, DME, DVOR, NDB, PAPI, ALS)
- Ensure compliance with DGCA CARs, ICAO Annex 10, and AAI specifications
- Review airport layouts, obstacle limitation surfaces (OLS) and safeguard requirements
- Coordinate with DGCA, AAI, and other regulatory authorities for approvals and inspections
- Prepare and review technical reports, compliance matrices, and regulatory submissions
- Support flight calibration, commissioning, and operational readiness of NAV Aids
- Identify risks related to signal interference, terrain, and obstacle constraints
- Liaise with design teams, consultants, and contractors to ensure regulatory and technical compliance
- Support aerodrome certification and licensing activities for CNS/NAV Aids

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering, with aviation or CNS/ATM certifications viewed as an advantage. Experience in greenfield and brownfield airport projects, working with AAI, DGCA, or airport operators, and managing projects in live airport environments is preferred.
