The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and be a Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario. They will have at least ten years of progressive bridge engineering experience covering inspection, analysis, load‑rating, design, and construction, and demonstrate strong leadership and mentorship capabilities. Excellent technical writing, problem‑solving, and communication skills are essential.
Additional strengths are highly valued, such as extensive experience in seismic analysis and bridge design, a history of managing municipal projects across Ontario, and familiarity with RAQS requirements. Qualifications like eligibility for a Quebec engineering designation, French language proficiency, and proficiency with MIDAS Civil, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office are considered assets.
