Prepare litigation evaluations, analyze collectability, pursue enforcement of judgments and assist with tenant bankruptcies
Initiate and monitor unlawful detainer and breach of lease actions and matters sent to collection agencies
Prepare default notices, demand letters, termination notices, relocation notices, abandonment notices and all other notices required to enforce lease covenants
Provide daily legal support to all Departments.
Correspond with tenants and tenant attorneys to resolve AR issues and other lease and legal disputes
Negotiate and document settlements
Monitor resolution of mechanics’ liens and foreclosure actions, and provide legal support for construction defect litigation
Respond to Subpoenas for the Company’s business records, and implement and monitor Legal Holds to retain and preserve documents in connection with claims, litigation and e-discovery
Perform due diligence reviews of leases involving relocation rights, co-tenancy provisions, radius restrictions, no-build zones, termination rights, CAM language, permitted, exclusive and restricted uses and all other rights, remedies and controls of the lease parties
Coordinate with Property Management and Leasing to assess and minimize legal risk and resolve legal disputes

Paralegal certificate from an ABA approved school required
Substantial law firm or in-house experience as a real estate paralegal preferably in litigation and/or commercial landlord/tenant law
