- Determine appropriate welding techniques, by reading and analyzing plans and work orders, calculating requirements and studying materials.
- Meet key business objectives including safety, quality, productivity, delivery, etc.
- Lay out, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble piping components

- Required to talk, express, or exchange detailed, important information by means of verbal communication.
- Required to stand for sustained periods of time
- Constantly Required to hear sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to hear detailed information and distinguish sounds to avoid hazards.
- Required to reach forward, grab, grasp, pinching, handle material and tools using upper extremities

- Consistently perform GTAW (TIG) pipe welds that meet ASME/AWS standards and can maintain welding certification.

- Required to use scissor, boom, and other personnel lifts to access the work area

- Required to lift objects from low to high positions in horizontal to vertical motions
- Able to work alone.
- Able to perform their own pipe fitting as needed.
