Senior Network Engineer

Join Stanwell’s Cloud & Infrastructure Platform team as a Senior Network Engineer, responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining advanced network and security platforms across data centres and the cloud.

• Participate in an on-call roster
• Implement and optimise network security and compliance
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and document complex network issues
• Lead network transformation for Queensland’s largest energy generator
• Drive cloud and security innovation in a collaborative ICT team
• Provide technical expertise in cloud migration and technical project delivery

This is a full-time opportunity located in Brisbane CBD.

• Strong communication, leadership, change management, and stakeholder engagement skills

• Design and architect scalable, secure network solutions
• Proven experience in senior network and security engineering roles
• Proven expertise in LAN/WAN, firewalls, SDN, SDWAN, cloud networking, and automation
• Bachelor’s degree in IT; Cisco/Palo Alto/Azure certifications desirable
