- Operate production equipment to meet output goals while maintaining product quality.
- Follow verbal and written instructions to produce assigned paver and block products.
- Perform equipment set‑up, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs using tools and measuring devices.
- Dismantle and reassemble heavy plant components with hoists and hand tools.
- Complete daily production and maintenance reports accurately.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment and wear required PPE.
- Communicate product discrepancies or equipment issues during shift changes.
- Assist the Chief in daily operations and perform additional assigned duties.

The job requires frequent lifting of up to 50 lb (occasionally 80 lb), constant movement around the facility, and the ability to monitor machinery closely. Employees must also be able to reach, talk, hear, smell, and work in tight spaces, with occasional climbing of steps or ladders.
- Require 3‑4+ years in automated production or line leadership, with front‑line people management experience.
- Demonstrate data‑driven decision‑making and strong communication of performance, quality, and safety.
- Possess basic mechanical/electrical knowledge; experience with concrete manufacturing equipment is a plus.
- Hold a high school diploma/GED and 3+ years in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
- Exhibit strong interpersonal, self‑motivation, organizational, and computer skills; ERP and Microsoft tools knowledge beneficial.
Benefits
The Production Machine Operator position offers $25/hr plus a $6/hr shift differential, reaching $31/hr on weekend shifts. The role works Saturday through Monday, 5:30 am–5:30 pm, at the Pen Argyl, PA facility.
