The Material Clerk/Unpacker moves materials within a warehouse and supports other warehouse tasks. Main duties include unloading, picking, packing, counting, and checking items to maintain inventory, as well as operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other equipment in accordance with safety policies.
The role also involves using a warehouse management system (WMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to view or input information, following production instructions, adhering to product quality standards, and performing self‑inspections with feedback to quality and supervisors.
Qualifications typically include a high school diploma or equivalent and 0‑1 year of general work experience. Candidates should demonstrate strong learning and communication skills, be proficient with Microsoft Office, and possess solid fire‑safety knowledge.
