The Field Coordinator supports project execution by serving as the link between Project Managers, contractors, and customers in the field. This role is responsible for conducting site visits, verifying installation work, documenting field conditions, and ensuring project requirements are met. The Field Coordinator identifies potential issues during installation and escalates them for resolution, while maintaining accurate documentation and clear communication. With frequent travel (60-80%) and hands-on site involvement, this position plays a key role in delivering smooth, professional, and successful project outcomes.
- Support the Project Management team with audits, walkthroughs, material check-ins, and completion walks
- Assist Project Managers in preparing and maintaining project documents such as material lists, install maps, and closeout documentation
- Capture and share field documentation needed for invoicing, compliance, or project closeout
- Represent the company professionally onsite, supporting a positive customer and contractor experience
- Travel to project sites to support pre- and post-installation meetings with contractors and customers
- Identify potential issues during installation or walkthroughs and promptly communicate findings to the assigned Project Manager
- Maintain clear and professional communication with contractors, customers, and internal teams to support smooth project execution
- Document site conditions accurately and provide updates to the Project Management team
- Oversee initial stages of installations to guide sub-contractors and ensure work aligns with project plans and document findings

- Comfortable using tablets, mobile apps, or project software for field documentation
- Flexible to shifting priorities; able to travel to job sites and work independently with moderate supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to relay site observations clearly to Project Managers
- Basic understanding of construction processes, material handling, and installation workflows, especially in energy efficiency projects such as lighting, HVAC, or controls
- Ability to identify and report issues during site visits; escalates concerns to Project Managers in a timely manner
- Detail-oriented in reviewing project scopes and documenting site conditions
- Ability to read and understand project scopes, installation plans, and material lists with guidance
- Capable of being on your feet for extended periods, walking through construction sites, and lifting light materials or equipment as needed
- Organized and able to manage multiple site visits, walkthroughs, and check-ins

The hiring range for this position is $56,000 - $70,000
