Millwright - C of Q

Description

The Millwright – C of Q position is based in Brampton, Ontario, reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The role focuses on troubleshooting, monitoring, adjusting, and repairing manufacturing equipment throughout the plant to maintain production and quality.

• Maintain smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment
• Troubleshoot industrial equipment using precise measuring and testing instruments
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment with hand and power tools
• Create hand sketches of assemblies while interpreting dimensional drawings and service costing
• Inspect wear and assess remaining useful life of power transmission components
• Fabricate repair parts using machine‑shop instrumentation and equipment
• Utilize Maximo or similar CMMS for maintenance tracking
• Follow LOTO and other safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment
• Work rotational shifts, including extended hours and weekends as needed
• Provide own hand tools appropriate to the equipment and environment

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid Ontario Industrial Mechanic License (Red Seal C of Q) and bring at least five years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and tool‑handling skills are essential for success in this role.

• Possess a valid Ontario Industrial Mechanic License 433A (Red Seal C of Q)
• Demonstrate at least five years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
• Exhibit strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
