Working with your electrical team to develop detailed design and specification documents for facilities, including one-line (single line) diagrams, power plans, lighting plans, and required design calculations under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.
Assisting the Electrical Team Leader in coordinating schedules, managing multiple assignments concurrently, monitoring project budgets, and ensuring delivery of quality work products which adhere to Garver standards.
Coordinating with other support discipline activities on projects, coordinating with regional Garver offices and regulating agencies, construction cost estimating, and quality assurance and control.

Technical skills to work, or learn to work, safely and competently with electrical testing equipment.
Engineering, technical, or drafting secondary education.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong communication skills and the ability to present designs and technical information to coworkers and clients in front of groups.
Electrical field investigation experience and/or electricians’ license
Self-motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, including:
Previous experience working with power modeling packages such as SKM and EasyPower.
Strong technical writing skills.
Experience AutoCAD, REVIT, and/or Civil 3D.
Passion for Electrical, Aviation, and other special system Projects.
Benefits
Some regional travel may be required as projects may require field work for site assessment of project locations and support during construction. Occasionally this travel may involve overnight stays. Regional travel is estimated at 10-20% of time.
