Coordinates effectively with partners and consultants.
Participates and collaborates in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups.
Reviews work for accuracy, omissions, legibility, and for document compliance in accordance with the Project Delivery Manual.
Assists in the evaluation of existing facilities.
Supports team members with schematic design phase.
Assists the client in determining goals and objectives of the healthcare facility through a clear programming process.
Mentors staff.
Collaborates with members of the healthcare group to design a project that meets the firm’s commitment to design, quality, schedules, client needs, financial budget, and time table.
Provides master planning, design, and related medical architecture expertise.
Provides room and departmental layouts and assists in the selection of building systems.
Actively participates on team in order to carry out the goals and objectives of the project and communicates with team members in a timely manner.
Manages, develops, and facilitates data collection through interviews, focus groups, end-user surveys, observation, and post occupancy evaluation.
Assists in the production of an architectural program for clients.
Participates in marketing proposals and interviews.
Assists in the inclusion of program requirements during the construction document phase.
Prepares alternate design solutions for consideration based on client’s long-range plan during the master planning and design phases.

Position requires a professional degree in architecture, or related discipline

ACHA Accreditation Preferred
Professional architectural license preferred
Advanced knowledge of 2D/3D production software
4 years of Healthcare experience required
Visualization tools such as Enscape and VRay
Construction Techniques
Certificate of Need (varies by state)
Microsoft Office / Adobe Suite
Advanced Revit
Conceptual modeling tools such as Rhino and Grasshopper
Presentation tools such as InDesign and Photoshop
OSPHD knowledge (CA specific)
LEED GA within 6 months of hire
