As a Production Technician at Fischer Homes, you will be essential to the construction process by producing and maintaining construction documentation within a BIM environment. You will coordinate documents required for permits and construction, ensuring superintendents have the materials, labor, and accurate plans needed to build homes. Your accuracy and attention to detail help turn customers’ dream homes into reality.
Key responsibilities include producing accurate plans and construction details that meet Fischer Homes standards, delivering complete drawing sets for the permit department, and providing recurring‑issue details to appropriate departments to proactively solve future problems. You will also demonstrate creativity by finding new or better solutions within company guidelines.
The role suits individuals who are extremely detail‑oriented, enjoy working with computer‑aided design technology, and have an analytical mindset comfortable with data. A customer‑centered approach, willingness to receive feedback, and respect for standards, processes, and guidelines are also important.
Preferred qualifications are strong Revit experience and working knowledge of Excel and data analysis. Physical requirements include the ability to use verbal communication, perform repetitive motions such as typing, lift 20‑25 lb unassisted, and sit for long periods with occasional standing.
