The role involves preparing and installing drywall on walls and ceilings, securing the sheets to metal or wood studs, applying joint compound, and completing the finish by sanding and smoothing surfaces.
- Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets for walls and ceilings
- Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs
- Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
- Fill joints, holes, and cracks with compound using a trowel or broad knife
- Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
