The role will design, implement and manage a comprehensive mobility and fleet strategy across the UK&I, ensuring safe, efficient and cost‑effective transportation while advancing sustainable solutions.
The manager will oversee fleet sustainability initiatives, driver management, policy development, operational compliance, financial optimisation, partner and vendor relationships, stakeholder engagement and performance reporting.
- Lead transition to battery electric vehicles, select appropriate models, influence charging infrastructure and run EV education programmes.
- Manage driver licensing, fine handling and mileage reimbursement for benefit and essential drivers.
- Develop, implement and continuously refine fleet and mobility policies aligned with UK&I business objectives.
- Ensure fleet operations comply with all relevant legislation, regulations and internal policies, collaborating with HR, Payroll and Finance.
- Monitor, analyze and control fleet and mobility costs, identifying optimisation opportunities and managing alternative cash allowances within budget.
- Oversee relationships with external partners such as fleet management firms, booking platforms, energy card providers and travel‑expense vendors.
- Drive communication and change‑management initiatives to adopt new policies, educate stakeholders and resolve escalations.
- Define key performance indicators, gather and analyse data to report on fleet effectiveness and support decision‑making.

Ideal candidates will have a strategic mindset with experience in BEV transition, strong collaboration skills across HR, Finance, Payroll and Procurement, commercial and financial acumen, supplier contract expertise, data‑driven decision making, project delivery experience, excellent communication, change‑leadership ability, proactive problem‑solving, high organisational detail and knowledge of UK & Ireland fleet legislation.
- Demonstrated experience delivering large‑scale projects like charging infrastructure rollouts.
- Proven ability to simplify technical or tax topics for diverse audiences.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with solid budgeting and analysis capabilities.
- Supplier and contract management experience across leasing, maintenance and energy partners.
- Data‑driven approach using fleet systems and analytics to track KPIs and generate insights.
