What you would be doing

  • When applicable, acquaint new residents with menu options
  • Charge all drinks accordingly
  • Serve residents and guest's beverages as requested per recipes
  • Clean, sanitize, sweep, mop and remove trash from the bar area as needed to maintain cleanliness
  • Provide a high level of customer service and promote a fine dining atmosphere
  • Create a strong sense of teamwork and cooperation among all staff
  • Set up the bar with garnishes
  • Assist with preparation and execution of special events, banquets, and theme meals
  • Connect and help residents transition from home to community through thoughtful engagement at every level of interaction
  • Adhere to Quality Enhancement standards and standard food safety practices
  • Remove used glassware from bar area
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and/or Executive Director to keep residents satisfied with food, beverage, and dining programs
  • Takes and delivers accurate drink orders to residents and guests
  • Attending Pre-Meal stand up held for all dining and kitchen staff
  • Maintain inventory of all products

  • Strong organization and time management skills

  • Communicate resident likes and dislikes to Executive Chef for menu planning purposes and resident satisfaction
  • Must abide by Company uniform policy
  • Polish all cups and glasses prior to service
  • Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
  • Able to build positive and strong relationships with employees, coworkers and residents
  • One (1) year prior bartending experience required
  • Able to resolve problems of dissatisfied customers and/or team members
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
