Design HVAC systems
Perform construction administration duties to include shop drawing reviews and responding to RFIs.
Prepare cooling and heating load calculations utilizing Trane Trace Software.
Prepare design documents for permitting, bidding and construction.
Capable of writing reports on HVAC systems and designs.
Proficient design skills in HVAC and in preparing designs for hydronic and air distribution systems.
Professional Engineer License preferred
6-8 years of design experience for HVAC systems
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
Familiar with Trane Trace 700 or Trace 3D plus (for the cooling/heating loads calculations).
Capable of selecting major HVAC equipment and of preparing cooling and heating load calculations utilizing Trane Trace Software.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
