Coordinate master planning-related tasks.
Provide mentorship to less-experience staff members.

Work on a variety of projects; this includes municipal engineering for municipalities (including subdivision & land development reviews, road rehabilitation, stormwater management (SWM), capital improvements, grant writing, and attendance at public meetings).
Work on project design and permitting.
Review applications before planning, zoning, and/or land-use boards.

Experience working on design and permitting activities.
PE license in NJ (we will consider candidates who are able to successfully obtain their PE within 6 months of their start date).
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline (preferably Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering).
Experience working on wet utility (water and/or wastewater) projects.
8+ years of professional experience working in Engineering, preferably with infrastructure / utility projects.
Proficiency with engineering tools (e.g.: CADD, GIS, analytical programs, etc.); experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS / ArcInfo is preferred.
Certified Municipal Engineer [CME] credential is a plus!
Proven ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision while displaying a positive attitude.
Excellent communication skills (verbal & written); technical writing skills are strongly preferred!
Experience working with water resources (such as stream and waterway restoration) is a plus!
Experience H&H tools (e.g.: HydroCAD, InfoSWWM, OpenFlows WaterCAD, WaterGEMS, & SewerGEMS) is a plus!
Excellent organizational skills, especially with a proven ability to work in a self-motivated manner while effectively multi-tasking and prioritizing multiple assignments.
Management and/or Project Management experience; proven ability to manage multi-discipline projects is preferred.
Proficiency on all standard Microsoft Office software applications (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook).
