Health Safety Environment Officer (Qatar)

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE plans and procedures specific to EPC project phases.
• Conduct site audits, inspections, and risk assessments across engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
• Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to multi-disciplinary teams.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis; implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and client representatives to promote a safety-first culture.
• Ensure compliance with international and local HSE regulations, standards, and client requirements.

• Ability to understand and implement HSE plans, Welfare plans, Emergency response procedures/plans and site specific HSE procedures / work instructions.
• Must have a NEBOSH IGC or Equivalent certificate; Additional HSE Trainings and Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma
• Ability to conduct HSE inspections
• Awareness of practical H2S control measures.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in HSE in any industry, with at least 1 year experience in construction, fabrication, installation and/or commissioning projects / operations / production in the oil & gas or petro-chemical industries.
• Ability to understand and implement incident reporting and investigation procedures
• Practical experience in implementation of SSOW (PTW/ WMS/ Risk Assessment etc.)
• Ability to conduct HSE orientation / induction/HSE awareness sessions to workers
• Ability to speak read and write English with good communication skills.
