Coordinate and promote all Corporate Medical Services policies
Perform follow up evaluations of employees with detailed documentation of progress

Coordinate and manage medical surveillance and training as it relates to the Corporate Medical Services, Be Well and Environmental Health and Health (EHS) requirements.
Monitor the employee's workers' compensation case to determine that optimal quality of care in a cost effective manner is achieved

Provide direct care, including treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses using evidence based clinical guidelines and protocols (e.g. AAOHN/ACOEM clinical guidelines)
To collaborate with Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) to develop, implement, and optimize injury and accident prevention programs as well as surveillance and reporting programs specific to operational needs.
Facilitate care/case management for work and non-work-related employee illness and injury.
Provide initial assessment of work-related injuries and illnesses and facilitate further evaluation including specialty care, as necessary
Coordinate First Responder training and certification, and First Responder team meetings at least quarterly
Maintain accurate and complete occupational health records of employees
Assist with required forms for Absence Management cases
Consult with managers regarding regulations
Work with management and supervisor to coordinate the employee's return to normal or temporary alternative work
Provide work related vaccinations
Maintain compliance with all local state and federal occupational health and safety policies/standards

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University (BSN)
Knowledge of governmental regulatory requirements
Minimum 3-5 years of occupational health, case management, and clinical nursing experience required
Knowledge and demonstrated experience with general office programs and equipment
Training in the use and proper fitting of all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (i.e. equipment that is worn to protect against safety and health hazards) (If required by facility)
Current State Licensure – Must have a current license as a Registered Nurse in the State where profession is practiced
Thorough understanding of the medical services in the community in order to facilitate referrals (e.g. emergent, urgent or routine)
First Aid / CPR / Bloodborne Pathogens/ Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) certification
American Association of Occupational Health Nurses (AAOHN) membership
Proven ability to work in a team environment
Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely clinical care flow
Exceptional ability to document, organize and maintain health related records
Council for Accreditation in Occupational Hearing Conservation (CAOHC). Education and certified training given to the Occupational Health Nurse (OHN) to prepare the individual for administering audiometric testing and programs. (If required by facility)
Timely and effective communication as demonstrated through strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN) / Case Management – Certification in Occupational Health is encouraged by Corporate Medical Services. This process is governed by the American Board for Certified Occupational Health Nurse (ABOHN) and certain requirements of employment and education must be met prior to examination
Exceptional customer service and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to maintain medical confidentiality and privacy
Demonstrate ability to work closely with corporate and location management teams (e.g. Be Well, EHS, Corporate Medical Services, location leaders, etc.) in the completion of goals and strategies
