Define and deliver maintenance improvement initiatives
Accountable to ensure the right people are in place, possessing the right competencies at the right times to maintain the asset
Coordinate with the Excellence and Assurance group to ensure adequate work packs exist for MTLs and craft personnel
Serve as the Area Maintenance interface with other departments to manage asset incidents and activities, including ensuring a functional call-out and off-shift coverage system exists to meet business requirements
Responsible for the Area Maintenance budget, including developing the annual budget for the assigned PU; conducting weekly and monthly reviews of spend against the budget and preparing forecasts; managing month-end accruals and producing accurate Latest Estimates (LE)

Must be an Engineer, Technologist, or Journeyman

Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Experience with collective bargaining agreements is considered an asset
Skilled in leadership, influencing, negotiating, and decision-making; able to effectively bring groups together and coordinate action plans to drive resolution
At least 10 years of maintenance experience in upgrading, refining, or other heavy industries, along with 5 years of leadership experience managing hourly craft personnel and coordinating multi-craft maintenance or projects
Ability to manage evolving priorities while meeting multiple commitments in a timely manner
