As an Electrical Engineer you will design low‑ and medium‑voltage power distribution, lighting, communications, security, fire detection, and control systems, guiding projects from concept through startup. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient, innovative, and sustainable solutions.
Key responsibilities include collaborating with process, mechanical, and instrumentation engineers to develop design criteria and documentation, performing power system analyses, and supporting project managers with scope, budgeting, and scheduling. You will also manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables, and travel as needed for client meetings and site visits.
We are seeking experienced Electrical Engineers to join our Resilience Water team in a talent‑pipeline role that prepares for future opportunities in water resilience and sustainability. The position supports the design and implementation of electrical systems for water, wastewater, and industrial infrastructure projects.
Successful candidates possess a strong foundation in industrial power design, motor control, variable frequency drives, lighting systems, and equipment layout. Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills are essential for managing multiple assignments and collaborating across disciplines.
The required qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or a related field) and at least five years of experience supporting water or wastewater projects. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, EIT or PE license, and familiarity with the National Electrical Code.
