Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
Liaise with clients and site managers to provide updates and technical advice
Fault-find and rectify breakdowns efficiently and to a high standard
Travel to multiple sites across the North West
Attend site in response to breakdowns or failures of the equipment outside of normal working hours (call outs). Take part in the regional on-call rota
Prepare accurate job sheets and service reports
Interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics
Install, commission, service, and maintain chiller plant, VRF/DX systems, and split-type air conditioning units
Work in compliance with F-Gas regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and health & safety requirements
City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (or equivalent)
Electrical qualification (18th Edition) (Desirable)

This role includes a DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists check therefore ability to pass is essential.
Manufacturer training on major VRF brands (e.g., Daikin, Mitsubishi, Toshiba) (Desirable)
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer with a strong background in chiller systems, VRF/DX systems, and split-type air conditioning installations. You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of a range of HVAC equipment in commercial, industrial, and high-end residential environments.
Full UK driving licence
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proven experience with VRF/DX systems, chillers, and split AC installations
F-Gas Category 1 (2079) certification
Experience with BMS integration (Desirable)
